Correcting 1.2 crummy javascript which only worked in jQuery 1.1 and higher. The filter(Function) method is not supported in the jQuery shipped with Drupal. The new approach works in both jQuery 1.0 and 1.1 versions.

Enhanced external link detection, now able to consider subdomains as internal. Prevents javascript errors when dealing with odd links in IE7.
