Changed hook_og parameters to be more flexible. Replaced og_create_subscription with og_save _subscription modeled after user_save(). This function now passes along 'user insert' or 'user update' operations to hook_og() instead of former 'user create'. I updated all contributed og modules accordingly. Please check my diffs.
Fixes #48266 enabling email notification results in being removed from admin

Makes one group mandatory for new users.
Choose one group that all new users will be put into. You can chose
either an open or a closed group. The user will be auto-approved as
member of the group.
This form allows you to request diffs between any two revisions of this file.
For each of the two "sides" of the diff,
select a symbolic revision name using the selection box, or choose
'Use Text Field' and enter a numeric revision.
