- currently only published content is displayed. What if user has rights to access unpublished content?
- to show only title, some words from the news (how many signs) 
- choose not only content types but also a taxonomy type
- specific user should have 'current user' option that would show content from user browsing the site
- instead of specific users it'd be better to implement "choose s specific role posts", would that be enough for you?
